Privacy notice
Draft · 18 October 2026 · Obtain legal review before public use.
Draft, dated 18 October 2026. This notice describes the intended, unpublished test operation of the information page about the network. Before public launch, it must be checked and finalised against the infrastructure actually used, contracts, recipients, retention practice and applicable legal requirements.
Controller contact
Contact for the processing described in this notice: DEFI Marketing FZCO, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, contact@prenet.ae.
Requests for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal may be sent to this email address. To handle a request safely, reasonable proof that the requester is the data subject may be required. This draft does not claim that a data protection officer or EU representative has been appointed; the need for one and its contact details must be assessed before launch.
Data processed
The form requires your first name, last name and email address. You must also choose between a registration request and further information. “Preferred username” and “Recommended by” are optional. A message is required for an information request and optional for a registration request. The username is a preference and is not reserved; the form does not create a network account. Please do not submit confidential data, and only provide information about other people if you are authorised to do so.
For technical abuse prevention, the IP address and a timestamp are processed to allow no more than three requests per IP address within 15 minutes. The hidden “website” field must remain empty. A completed field marks a request as probably automated and is used only to prevent spam; it is not intended as a message for contact@prenet.ae.
Technical connection data may arise when the page is called, such as IP address, time, requested resource and browser or device information. This draft makes no unsupported assertion about the extent or retention of any platform or web-server logs. The logging actually enabled must be documented and added here before launch.
Purposes
Form data are processed only to answer an enquiry and, where the person submits an expression of interest in the free waiting list through the main action, to handle that expression of interest and send information about the possible launch of the network. Submission does not create an account and is not an automatic registration.
Technical data are used only to deliver the page securely, prevent spam and abuse, and enforce the request limit. There is no visitor analytics, marketing pixels, profiling or automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects.
Legal bases and applicable framework
Where UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data or applicable special free-zone rules apply, a clear affirmative consent is relied on for voluntary contact and the waiting-list expression of interest. Consent may be withdrawn for the future via contact@prenet.ae.
The GDPR does not apply merely because this page is offered in German, English, Spanish or Russian. Under Article 3 GDPR it may apply depending on the actual targeting and processing, for example where there is an offer targeted at people in the EU or monitoring of behaviour there. Where it applies, the waiting list or voluntary contact relies on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; limited technical security and abuse prevention rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Statutory retention or disclosure, where relevant, relies on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. This is not a promise that the GDPR or a particular exemption applies in an individual case.
Delivery, recipients and processors
A permitted form request is not stored in an enquiry database. Its content is sent by SMTP to contact@prenet.ae. The private mailbox mail.prenet.ae is used through port 465 with TLS; the sender’s email address is placed in Reply-To. This permits a reply. DEFI Marketing FZCO and people authorised to handle the message may receive the email content.
Tasjeel is intended as infrastructure and email service provider. The current test preview is provided in a Manus Sandbox. Tasjeel, Manus and necessary subprocessors, to be checked before launch, may process data only to the extent necessary for hosting, test delivery, transport, operations, security or support. The services actually used, contractual roles, subprocessors and recipient categories must be confirmed before publication.
Transfers to other regions
The provider address is in the United Arab Emirates. This draft does not guess the physical location of hosting, preview, email or backup systems. Depending on the service and routing actually used, processing or access may therefore take place in the UAE or other regions.
Where a transfer takes place from the UAE, it must meet the conditions of the applicable UAE data-protection rules, including the safeguards, contracts or consent grounds provided there. Where the GDPR applies and data are transferred from the EEA to a third country, this will occur only subject to Chapter V GDPR, for example an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards or an applicable derogation. The actual transfer basis must be determined before launch and explained on request.
Retention and deletion
Message content and contact data are processed only in the mailbox, not in an enquiry database. They are deleted or anonymised once the enquiry has been handled, unless a waiting-list expression of interest, a legal duty or a legitimate need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims requires otherwise.
A waitlist email is retained until the expression of interest is withdrawn, the network launches or the relevant processing purpose ceases. No blanket six-month period is claimed. Private rate-limit files older than one day may be cleaned opportunistically during subsequent form requests; deletion after exactly 24 hours is not guaranteed. The persistent secret CSRF key is protected separately and is not deleted by this file cleanup.
Security and form protection
The form uses stateless CSRF protection and does not set a session cookie. Protection values are HMAC-protected and the secret key remains private. The request limit, honeypot field and prompt cleaning of technical files described above are intended to prevent spam and abuse.
Email delivery to the private mailbox uses TLS on port 465. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Before a public launch, it must in particular be checked that the website is delivered over HTTPS, access is restricted and an incident process with current contacts is in place.
No optional cookies, analytics or external embeds
This page does not set optional site cookies and does not use local storage, analytics or marketing pixels. It has no login, shop or payment function. Therefore no consent banner for optional cookies or similar tracking technologies is used on this page. Whether a banner or additional notice becomes necessary after a technical change must be checked first.
The four MP4 videos and the Manrope font are served locally. The Telegram reference to t.me/networking26 is only an ordinary link and is not embedded. Telegram is called only after an intentional click; from that point Telegram’s own privacy and terms apply.
Your rights, withdrawal and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may request information about your data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and information about recipients and transfers. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future through contact@prenet.ae. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Where the GDPR applies, you may lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Under UAE data-protection law, there is generally a right to complain to the competent body or Bureau provided there. The concrete currently available complaint route, competent free-zone body and any EU representative must be verified before publication. Please contact contact@prenet.ae first so that the request can be reviewed and answered.
Changes and draft status
This notice applies only to the test mode described. Material changes to functions, recipients, retention practice, countries, tracking or marketing require an update beforehand. This draft is not legal advice or a legal guarantee and does not replace review by qualified counsel before public launch.
